If you want to create a Christian girl morning routine, then you can browse through the list and make a routine that is perfect for you and your relationship with God.
I also include examples of routines that you can incorporate into your day.
But you may be wondering why you should start your day with Jesus. Let’s look at some of the benefits.
What are the Benefits of Starting Your Day with Jesus?
There are several benefits of starting your day with Jesus. Here are a few:
1) Starting your day with Jesus helps you to remember that He should be first place in your life.
It’s a good way to show that you prioritize your relationship with Him.
Remember that how you spend your time and money are good indicators of what you truly value.
2) Spending time with Jesus gives you peace and reassurance for the day
When you spend time with Jesus, it helps you to experience His peace. Our days can be filled with so much care and worries to the point that we forget who is in control.
When you start your day with Jesus, you will remember that He is in control and that He is ordering your steps. I believe you will be more likely to think about Him throughout the day.
So you will remember that the Omnipotent and Omniscient One is always with you.
3) Starting your day with Jesus can help you to have the guidance and strength that you need
If you start your day by meditating on the Word of God and seeking Him for direction, then you will have knowledge and wisdom to make daily decisions.
10 Morning Routine Ideas
Here are 10 activities you can choose from to create your morning routine to start your day with Jesus. Remember that you don’t need to do all these activities.
You just need to choose a few and create a routine that’s unique and perfect for you.
1) Sing Praise and Worship Songs
This is the first idea on the list because sometimes this is the first thing you need to do when you wake up.
When you get up in the morning, you may still be sleepy so you want to make sure that you do something that will get you moving.
So one of the best ways to start your day with Jesus is to play praise and worship songs and sing along.
You can get up and start dancing and rocking as you sing and that will help you to be more awake and alert.
2) Go for a Nature Walk
The next idea on the list is to go for a walk in nature. This may not be practical for everyone because it depends on where you live as well as the safety of the area.
But you can still take a walk outdoors or on a treadmill. You can also opt to do light exercise like some stretches.
During this time, you can also talk to the Lord.
3) Pray Out Loud
I believe every morning routine should include prayer because that’s the time you get to talk with the Lord.
Remember every relationship needs communication to grow and flourish. So you have to talk to Jesus if you want a healthy relationship.
You can talk to Him like you talk to a friend. Tell Him about what’s happening in your life and what’s on your mind.
You can also ask Him for blessings and protection throughout your day.
And remember to thank Him for all that He is doing in your life. Name your blessings one by one and really think about how grateful you are.
4) Repeat Biblical Affirmations
Have you ever considered repeating Biblical affirmations in your quiet time with Jesus?
Biblical affirmations are a great way to renew your mind and remind yourself of the truth of God’s Word so you can counter the lies of the enemy.
Here are some Powerful Biblical affirmations to get you started.
5) Read or Study the Bible
You can choose to read or study the Bible during your quiet time.
If you have the time, I highly recommend that you study the Bible because you will learn so much more.
It will also be easier for you to identify ways that you can apply the Scripture and experience its transformative power.
You can use the SOAP Method during your Bible study which is a really simple way to study the Bible and it doesn’t require any knowledge of Greek and Hebrew.
If you’re reading the Bible, then you can follow a Bible reading plan.
If you want to read the Bible chronologically, here is a link to a Chronological Bible Reading Plan taken from Bible Study Tools website.

6) Read a Devotional
Reading a devotional is one way you can start your day with Jesus.
Devotionals can help you to understand more about the Bible and they can help you to see practical application of the Bible.
They can also strengthen your faith if you read a devotional that has testimonies of God’s power and goodness.

7) Prayer Journal
Do you like writing? If you do, then you can include prayer journaling in your morning routine.
I love writing so I enjoy writing prayers to the Lord and recording the ways that He shows up in my life.
The best part is reading those entries later. They always encourage and amaze me when I realize how faithful God is.
Even if you don’t like writing, I highly recommend that you make a record of answered prayers and the ways God shows up miraculously in your life.

8) Listen to a Sermon
You can also listen to a sermon in the morning. If you have a long commute to work or school then this may be a good activity to include in your day.
Sermons tend to expound on one or more Bible verses in great detail. They can also help you to apply the Biblical truth and principle in your life.
You can find several sermons on YouTube. Just make sure that they are wholesome sermons.
They shouldn’t be self-centered. A good sermon should always point you back to Jesus.

9) Sit in Silence with Jesus
I don’t think this is a popular morning routine idea for quiet time with Jesus. As human beings, we often like to be doing something.
But sometimes, you just need to sit in silence in the presence of God. It’s a good idea to do this after singing worship songs, praying or reading the Bible.
Just sit and listen to what God is saying to you.
Sometimes God wants to reveal something to you but you’re so busy that you don’t realize.
I tend to sit in silence in the evenings cause I have more time then but you can definitely do this in the morning.
You can also grab your prayer journal and a pen to record anything that He reveals to you.
